Lyn Meadows: Trustee

Lyn was in her mid-20’s when deciding to go back to education to complete her A-Levels at Wirral Metropolitan College. From then on her career learning and development took off.

She has a degree in law, a Masters in Business Administration, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.

Lyn’s passion is in helping and seeing people flourish in their chosen fields.

As HR Director at Bangor University until her retirement she gained extensive experience in the public sector, managing change and fostering good employment relationships.

A previous non-executive role at Arrowe Park hospital and Independent Membership of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, taking an active role in the area of quality and safety, means Lyn can bring important insights into staff development and other areas of hospice services (she sits on the workforce and clinical governance committees).

Since retirement Lyn has enjoyed recycling furniture for herself and her family. She’s also taken on some caring duties for elderly relatives and enjoys quality time with her grandchildren.

Qualifications: LLB (Hons), MBA and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (FCIPD)
