Getting to us:

Car parking:

For those who need accessible parking, we will do our best to accommodate patients’ visitors being able to park close to the main building (we have two spaces by our main entrance) – or you can park in any nearby car park but you will need to scan part of your blue badge at a pay machine after visiting.

Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) have introduced NEW parking eye cameras on the whole hospital site and removed all the barriers. Car parks that previously were used by staff AND visitors have now been changed. Please DO NOT PARK in the car park that was previously lettered ‘K’ as this is now a staff-only car park and you may face a £70 fine if you go in here. Electric charging:

We have no charging ports on the hospice site but there is a charging station across the road on the old Drayton Motors site, where there is also a Londis, Subway & Starbucks.

Bike racks:

We have a bike rack that you can lock your bike to, near the wooden sheds by the main entrance.

Public transport:

There are a number of bus routes that go around the outside of the hospital site and some within the inside circular.

Patient Referrals / Communications
Referral for all hospice services can be made by healthcare professionals

Referrals for hospice inpatients, outpatients, interventional pain team, wellbeing services and Wirral Community Specialist Palliative Care Team services, should be completed by healthcare professionals on our joint referral form at  www.wirralhospice.org/spcreferral and sent to wchc.csps@nhs.net

Advice and Information

Call 0151 334 2778 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for access to all of our care and support services.
