Glow with the Flow 

Our fun, fluorescent, family-friendly & dog-friendly walk is back by popular demand!

Friday 09 Oct 2026:

  • Start time: 6.30pm
  • Arrival from: 5.30pm
  • 6km Route

The walk will start at Vale Park bandstand, along New Brighton front to the West Cheshire Sailing Club, where we will pause and receive food from our friends at Rapid Relief, then continue back to the finish point of Riverside Bowl.
Volunteer marshals will guide your way.

Registration fees:

£10 Adults (18+)
£5 Children (aged 6-17)
FREE for ages 5 and younger
FREE for dogs (must be on leads at all times)

FREE burger or tortillas for our walkers available at the West Cheshire Sailing Club

For every paying adult who signs up before the end of September will receive a free bowling or laser quest voucher courtesy of Riverside Bowl on completion of the walk.

We encourage you to recycle your fluorescent, glow items from our previous events or anything colourful you can find in your wardrobe; the brighter the better! Merchandise will be available for you to buy on the night.

Sponsorship:

Once you have signed up (see form below). We kindly ask each participant or family team of walkers to raise sponsorship for our hospice care. We will provide paper sponsor forms in the post, or you can set up a JustGiving page for your fundraising efforts.

For those who reach the following fundraising targets, you can receive the following:

  • £50 minimum sponsorship raised will receive their own miniature mascot of John Bear
  • £150 minimum sponsorship raised will receive their own hospice hero medal
