Consistently Outstanding: Hospice at Home and Patient & Family Support Remembrance Services awarded

Our patients are at the heart of everything we do and we really appreciate it when they, alongside the people closest to them, give us their view of our services.

So it is an honour to receive recognition through health and social care organisation IWantGreatCare (IWGC) that we have consistently received a five star rating from our patients and their family members for our Hospice at Home team and our patient & family support remembrance services.

Wirral Hospice St John’s partners with iWGC to give our patients, their families and other carers, an opportunity to review the services we provide.

At the most challenging time of people’s lives it is really important to hear their feedback, to be pleased when they say nice things and also to listen to how we may improve aspects of our service provision and be prepared to answer questions professionally and honestly.

The iWGC website gives people the opportunity to rate ANY of our hospice’s services they may have experienced.

People can also give feedback on the staff involved in their care including those within our inpatients ward, outpatients clinics, Wellbeing Centre, Hospice at Home or our patient and family services.
