New volunteer role?
Becoming a hospice volunteer can be a very rewarding experience and helps us to make a big difference on site here and across our local Wirral community. We owe a huge amount of gratitude to many, many volunteers who gift their precious time towards supporting all aspects of hospice life; from patient and family support; to catering; to office support; to fundraising and retail support; to gardening…

Volunteer opportunities are plentiful if you have some spare time to help, we’d love to chat!
Patient & family care volunteer roles
Retail & fundraising volunteer roles
Volunteer driver roles
Buildings & grounds volunteer roles
Catering & cafe volunteer roles
Reception & admin volunteer roles

New way of giving?
One of the best ways you could help us is by setting up a regular gift to Wirral Hospice or becoming a member of our weekly lottery. This helps to provide a steady flow of income for our hospice’s care and support of Wirral patients and their loved ones.

Another way you could support us is by leaving a Gift in your Will to help us in the future. The words ‘legacy’ and ‘wills’ can be overwhelming if you’ve never written one or even considered how you would like to distribute your belongings or money after your lifetime. It’s an important discussion to have with family and those important to you, so that your wishes are respected and can be documented in a legal will. Sorting matters out officially can give peace of mind.

Read more about why it is so important to have a Will on this page. If you would like to find out more about our annual Make a Will campaign and / or how to leave a Gift in your Will to Wirral Hospice, please contact Julia Evans, fundraising manager: 0151 343 0778 | juliae@wirralhospice.org

New challenge?
Have you signed up to take part in a run, jog or challenge in aid of Wirral Hospice?  If you’d like a running vest / r-shirt and sponsor forms or help with setting up an online donation page, please contact Jo & Hayley 0151 343 0778 / events@wirralhospice.org.

Or if you, your family, group or workplace would like to organise your own fundraising in aid of Wirral Hospice, please contact Jo & Hayley: 0151 343 0778 | events@wirralhospice.org and they will give you all the support you need to make sure your plans go well.
