Changes to catering services Wed 11 March until end June 2026:

• Our main kitchen will not be affected by the building work, so meals for our inpatient ward will continue unaffected.
• Our café will be closed to the public for seating from Wed 11 March 2026 during the building work.
• Whilst the cafe is closed, visitors, staff and volunteers will be able to order and pay for food directly from our kitchen team.
  
• Pre-order food by calling ext 211 (internal calls) or 0151 482 8995 (external calls).
• Please see menu below for options and how you can order.
• Please note that we can only take card payments during building work.

Welcome to The Hub Café

THE HUB CAFE IS OPEN WEEKDAYS AND FOR SUNDAY LUNCH!

Everybody is welcome at The Hub Café at Wirral Hospice St John’s.

Our hub is visited by patients, their families, friends and other carers, staff and volunteers from the hospice, workers from all over Clatterbridge Health park and even people from our Wirral Community.

Whether you are looking to grab a bite to eat for lunch, a slice of one of our delicious homemade cakes, or simply a cup of fresh ground coffee we will be happy to serve you.

• Located just through the main reception area at the hospice
• Open Mon-Fri, 10am – 3.30pm and for SUNDAY LUNCH* from 1pm – 3pm
• Speciality teas, coffees and soft drinks
• Delicious toasties, sandwiches, quiche, baked potatoes and home-made soups
• Cakes, Crisps and Chocolate bars
• Our fresh, homemade, food is prepared daily by our Hospice Caterers.
• You’ll also find vending machines dispensing hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks.

You can pre-order any food from the menu. Just let the team know when you’ll be in for pick up and we’ll take care of the rest.

Bring your family for a delicious Roast Dinner.

Let The Hub team know by 2pm on a Friday, pre-pay for your meal, and your Roasties will be lovingly prepared.
