Course Aims:

Supporting parents to prepare their children for parental death.

Are you a cancer or palliative care nurse or a healthcare professional working in cancer care? Would you like to feel more confident talking to patients with incurable cancer about their children?

Duration: The course consists of pre-course eLearning and a one-day interactive workshop.

Course Content:

Preparing children for parental death can be one of the most challenging experiences parents will face. Children who are given information and support when they need it, say they feel more included and better prepared for the death of their parents.

The training programme is delivered by highly experienced facilitators from clinical or children and family bereavement backgrounds
