Building upon the success of last year, this year’s event saw the opening hours doubled, an increased number of stallholders and the added delight of bacon butties to fuel all in attendance! SAM_0480 - CopyHundreds of visitors poured through Heswall Hall doors on Saturday 26th October for the second Wirral Hospice St John’s Hobby & Craft Fair.

The event was packed with local businesses, groups and hobby enthusiasts – all demonstrating fantastic talent and skill. Visitors had a wide variety of craft to browse, from woodwork, engraving and photography to cake making, jewellery and embroidery.

Stalls selling refreshments, homemade jams, homemade craft items and gift shop goods all raised money for Wirral Hospice, with a chocolate tombola ticking all the boxes for those with a sweet tooth.

Fundraising Co-ordinator Kerry Threadgill reflects on the success of the event saying, “it was an absolute pleasure to host another Hobby & Craft Fair. A fantastic £2,200 was raised, which is reflective of the generosity and hard work put in by so many amazing volunteers. A huge thank you to all involved!”
