Hobby & Craft Fair – Heswall

Published on: 18/10/2012

Saturday 6th October saw bargain hunters and craft lovers alike flocking to Heswall Hall for the first Hobby and Craft Fair in support of Wirral Hospice St John’s. With an aim to not only provide visitors with a place to buy goods for craft making, our wonderful stallholders were present to offer support and advice to budding crafters, itching to learn a new hobby.

Stalls from jewellery making to cake baking, wicker caning to wood crafting and of course the ever popular chocolate tombola kept the crowds coming with over 230 visitors through the door.

With a full hall and a wide variety of stalls and crafters the Hospice Hobby and Craft Fair was a huge success. The total amount raised through this event was over £1,400, which will go towards the excellent patient care provided at Wirral Hospice St John’s.

We met some lovely people and couldn’t resist making some purchases of our own. A big thank you to all who came to support us, to our lovely volunteers for making crafty items to sell on our Hospice stalls and to those who generously donated items to our tombola!
