Roz Tranfield
Roz was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and fought to transform a negative turn in life into a positive – helping other women in her situation through fashion, fundraising and mentoring. It was this work that led her to be named Merseyside Woman of the Year in 2016.

Wirral Hospice:
Roz’s husband Paddy was cared for by Wirral Hospice St John’s in the latter part of his own cancer journey, passing away peacefully with Roz by his bedside on Sunday 1st February.
Roz describes Wirral Hospice as: “Such an amazing caring place. The staff were respectful and warm, with such a fabulous sense of humour. Paddy wanted for nothing.”
More than £3,000 has been raised in loving memory of Paddy. We are very grateful to Roz and all of her and Paddy’s family and friends for so considerately supporting hospice care and support for Wirral families.

Roz will be continuing to support Wirral Hospice with some fundraising initiatives, including selling a painting or two in aid of hospice care.
Roz describes her painting, ‘Vibrant Harmony’ for the hospice,
“It was created to suggest a vibrant mood of people in harmony.
The chamber jazz band; big bass, trombone, saxophone and accordion, capture the movement of a swing type melody with the musical notes emanating from their instruments swirling around a lamppost on an atmospheric night.”
If you’d like a chance to join the bidding, please visit our ebay listing before the deadline here.
Bidding for the painting will run until Sunday 9th August at 8pm.
The painting is 108cms wide and 86cms deep and the reserve price is set at £300.00
If you would prefer to support Wirral Hospice with a donation in Paddy’s memory, please visit Paddy’s Tribute page, which remains open indefinitely for donations.
Roz says:
“Every pound makes a difference to the moments that matter most.
Thank you for any support you’re able to give to our wonderful Wirral Hospice!”
Roz xx
