Communication Skills Training
Course Aims:
This course is designed to enhance participants’ understanding and confidence in communication skills, particularly in challenging or sensitive situations. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Define key communication skills.
- Gain knowledge of the theories underpinning effective communication.
- Identify and discuss the core skills required to facilitate meaningful and effective communication.
- Recognise how blocking behaviours can negatively impact conversations and contribute to challenging experiences.
- Critically reflect on past conversations, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement.
- Build confidence in applying communication skills in difficult or emotionally charged situations.
