Update your preferences

When you start supporting us, we will give you the choice of how you would like to hear from us:

– Post – opt out
– Telephone – opt out
– Enewsletters – opt in

Please be assured that you will be able to change your preferences at any time by calling 0151 343 0778 or by using our online form below:

If you are already an existing supporter of Wirral Hospice St John’s, we will continue to communicate with you in the ways that you currently receive fundraising information from us. Unless you wish to change anything. In which case, please call 0151 343 0778 or complete the form below to let us know if you would like to change any of your preferences.

Postal communications: we will be communicating with existing supporters – who haven’t opted out from hearing from us in this way – using Legitimate Interest. This means that if you have attended a Ladies Lunch or a fundraising dinner (for example), we would write to you with details of upcoming such events. Similarly, if you have made a Light up a Life or Summer Memories donation, we would write to you about those campaigns.

Telephone: we usually only call people in relation to confirming details about an address or if a donation/payment has not processed for some reason. We do not currently engage in telemarketing activity or plan to in the future.

Email: if we have your email address on file and haven’t been able to reach by phone, we may use email to communicate with you about details to do with your address or to ask that you contact us in relation to a donation/payment you may have tried to make.

Enewsletters: we send enewsletters using the email system Mailchimp. We send these out about fortnightly, sometimes a little more frequently if we have lots of fundraising activities to promote. An example of one of our enewsletters. Supporters can unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of every enewsletter or by calling 0151 343 0778 or by emailing fundraising@wirralhospice.org.
