To sign up to Gift Aid, please complete the below form.

  • Please note we cannot claim Gift Aid on donations that are collected monies or raised from an event. Using Gift Aid means that we get an extra 25% from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.
  • 1. To qualify for Gift Aid you must have paid enough UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount that all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs will reclaim against my gifts to them in the appropriate tax year, currently 25p for each £1 that you donate. Other taxes such as Council Tax and VAT do not qualify.

    2. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying Wirral Hospice St John’s.

    3. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your UK Income and Capital Gains equal to the tax claimed by Charities, you can cancel your declaration.

    4. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self-Assessment tax return.

    5. If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, please contact us or refer to the HMRC website

    6. Please notify us if you change your name or address.
