On Sunday 14th June SIX intrepid hospice colleagues (not four as in the picture above and on the left) will be taking part in the Ultimate 100 UK Triathlon Race Series relay event at The Mere at Ellesmere in Shropshire.

Ceri, Miriam, Anita and Mike
In each team of three, one person will swim 2km, then another will ride their bike for 78 km and the third will finish off with a run of a mere 20Km.
Wowser!
In team one our specialist physio, Miriam, will take on the swim, while inpatient ward bank nurse, Anita, is ready to sit on the bike then ward sister, Ceri, will run the final 20km.
In team two, occupational therapist, Alison, will be swimming, ward nurse, Mike, will ride the bike handing over to frequent road runner and ward health care assistant, Audrey, to finish their impressive challenge.
They’re all hospice heroes having completed all kinds of previous marathon, triathlon, swimming and cycling efforts for the hospice.
And, they say they’re NOT in competition as they’re all the best of friends.
We shall see… (Ha Ha!)
Good Luck and the very best wishes of everyone associated with the hospice to you all for your Tri-mendous efforts.
