Win £4,000 – The Double Money Spring Draw

After a challenging year we could all do with a little bit of good news and £4,000 would definitely go a long way just now.

With the UK’s coronavirus vaccination programme gathering pace, we’re all yearning for better days ahead.

Which is why, on Friday 26th March, first prize in the Wirral Hospice St John’s lottery will be doubled to a fabulous £4,000!

Many hospice supporters are already aware of the hospice lottery, as more than 12,500 people take part in it every week (most of them as regular members) and, every single week, at least one lucky winner wins a guaranteed £2,000.

For just £1 each week a member is issued with a unique six figure number which is then entered into a random electronic draw every Friday.

Many people will actually say that they’re NOT in it to win it! They see the lottery, very much, as a way of showing support to their local hospice. In fact total lottery membership enables the hospice to cover the equivalent cost of around 12 specialist nurses each year.

Once the numbers are drawn, the big winners are contacted by phone and the hospice sends all the weekly cheques by post to the lucky lottery prize winners.

There are 33 other prizes each week, although the second prize of £500 can roll-over, by multiples of £500, to a maximum of £10,000. If the rollover reaches £10,000 it HAS to be won that week.

Wirral Hospice’s lottery is a fun way to get involved with hospice fundraising and to have a chance of winning a welcome cash prize. We say that it is a way to win and a way to care!
