Hobby & Craft Fair returns for 2013

Published on: 09/09/2013

After the success of last year’s event, Wirral Hospice St John’s Hobby & Craft Fair is back for 2013! Taking place on Saturday 26th October at Heswall Hall, the fair will run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – double the hours of last year’s event due to high wirral_hospice_hobby_craft_22demand!

Visitors can expect to purchase items, speak to local businesses and hobby enthusiasts about their craft and also view demonstrations of particular products being made.

Stalls to feature at this year’s event include handmade jewellery, scrap-booking, photography, pottery, cakes, bird boxes, cards and much more! There will also be hospice-run stalls selling refreshments, handmade items and goods from our hospice Gift Shop, with a ‘chocolate & wine tombola’ for visitors with a sweet tooth.

Whether you’re looking to take up a new hobby, learn a new skill or simply looking for a few gifts, you’re guaranteed to find something that takes your fancy at this year’s Hobby & Craft Fair!

Can you help? We’re looking for chocolate items (biscuits, chocolate bars, hot chocolate etc) and bottles of wine to use in our tombola. If you have any items you would like to donate, please visit the fundraising office and inform us that your donations are for the fair. A tombola is a great way to raise funds for the Hospice – the bigger the better! For details call 0151 343 0778 or email Kerry at kerryt@wirralhospice.org

See you at the fair!
