Terrific tombola!

If you have ever attended a Wirral Hospice Christmas coffee morning or our annual Light Up a Life service, you will know that a tombola is not only fun but also a great way to raise funds for the Hospice. Whether it’s winning a prize or the thrill of a game of chance, the lure of a tombola is hard to resist!

Here at Wirral Hospice, our tombolas are stocked with items very generously donated by the Wirral community. However during busy periods, we can fall short of items to use as prizes and as a result, miss out on the opportunity of offering a tombola at an event. This is where we need your help!tombola

We are looking for unwanted items of good quality to use in a tombola at a number of forthcoming events, including the Festival of Transport (14th & 15th September), Port Sunlight Village Festival (20th & 21st September) and Wirral Hospice St John’s Hobby & Craft Fair (26th October).

All items are welcome and can include anything from shower gels and other unused cosmetics to soft toys in good condition, such as teddy bears.

The theme of the tombola at this year’s Hobby & Craft Fair is chocolate and wine, therefore any items of this nature would be very gratefully received for this event!

If you would like to donate items to be used in a tombola, please drop them into the Fundraising Office (located next to the Wirral Hospice Gift Shop on the Clatterbridge site). Please call the Fundraising Office on 0151 343 0778 or email Kerry at kerryt@wirralhospice.org if you have any questions or queries. Thank you!
