Charitable Trusts
We would like to thank all the trusts and foundations who have generously supported us over the years. Each grant, no matter the size, means a great deal to us and the patients receiving our care.
It currently costs in the region of £7 million per year to deliver our specialist hospice care services. Approx 60% of our income comes from voluntary donations, local organisations, and the support of charitable trusts and other large gifts.
- In addition to needing essential funding for our core running costs, we currently have a variety of exciting projects:
- Specialist Profile Bed
- Pressure Relieving mattress
- Syringe Drivers
- Funding towards our Citizen Advice Clinic
- Funding towards our Children & Young People’s Bereavement service
- Bedside Recliner Chairs
- Solar Panel Project
Our list of needs changes year to year so this is not a comprehensive list. If you are interested in supporting the hospice to help fund equipment or wish to make a large gift towards an aspect of our daily running costs, please call Teresa Nightingale or Julia Evans on 0151 343 0778 or email fundraising@wirralhospice.org thank you.
