Want to learn more about Wirral Hospice St John’s specialist palliative care and support services?

We will be hosting three Showcase Sessions at our hospice on:

Hot / cold drinks and light bites will be provided at the start of each session

Join us to hear all about the impact and social value of our services:

  • Inpatient unit
  • Outpatient clinics
  • Wellbeing centre
  • Patient and family support services
  • Children and young people’s support
  • Motor Neurone Disease service
  • 24hour advice line
  • Hospice at Home
  • Wirral Palliative Care Education Hub

Also hear about our current partnerships, and the collaboration opportunities to evolve vital palliative and end-of-life care services across our Wirral community.

Additionally, we will be shining a light on our fundraising performance and financial health, and sharing how our combined workforce of staff and volunteers play a significant role in delivering our hospice’s strategic vision.

It’s crucial to us that we gather views on what we’re doing and hear ideas that will inform future collaborative working, so as much as these sessions are about Wirral Hospice showcasing our work, we very much want to start conversations with individuals, organisations and groups who may be able to help us further our overarching vision of reaching more people across Wirral who need palliative and end-of-life care and support services.

To attend one of our three Showcase Sessions, please click on the dates above to book on. We just need your name and email so we can send you parking details nearer the time, and know numbers for catering purposes.

If you aren’t able to attend any of the sessions but wish to have a meeting with us here at the hospice to hear about our work and / or share your ideas, please contact Helen Brown, CEO on 0151 334 2778 | info@wirralhospice.org.

Warmest wishes

Helen

Wirral Hospice Strategy 2020-2023

Coronavirus changed much of the way we operated at the hospice just as we’d started out on our new three year strategy. The original plan is outlined in the document below.

Refinements were made along the way to how we carried out our work, which reflected the necessary social interaction restrictions that were in force for much of this period of time.

The thrust of our strategic direction remained the same throughout. By championing co-operation, collaboration and information sharing with our colleagues in other health settings, we continued to help promote the very best practise for supporting people with life-limiting conditions across our Wirral community.

Wirral Hospice St Johns Strategy 2020 - 2023

If you have any questions about our strategic plans, please contact Helen Brown, Chief Executive, on 0151 334 2778 or email us at info@wirralhospice.org
