You can help Wirral Hospice St John’s when you shop at your local Co-op!
Great news! Wirral Hospice St John’s have been chosen again by the Co-op Community Fund. You can help us to benefit from this year-long partnership by nominating Wirral Hospice St John’s as your Co-op local cause.
We’ve just received a donation of more than £4,000 from the 2019/20 partnership, thanks to our supporters shopping in their local Co-op. So if you could nominate us again for our 2020/21 partnership, that would be wonderful!
Every time Co-op members shop, 1% of what they spend on Co-op-branded products and services helps fund community projects. Members can choose which causes to support by signing into their membership account and choosing Wirral Hospice St John’s if you’d like to support our charity. Thank you for your support!
Charitable Trusts & Large Gifts
We would like to thank all the trusts and foundations that have generously supported us over the years. Each grant, no matter what the size, means a great deal to us and the patients receiving our care.
It currently costs over £5 million per year to deliver specialist end of life care to the people of Wirral. 58% of our income comes from voluntary donations and it is with the support of trusts, local businesses and voluntary donations that we can continue supporting patients living with life-limiting illnesses.
- In addition to needing essential funding for our core running costs, we currently have a variety of exciting projects:
- Patient Transport Vehicle
- Fundraising vans
- Specialist Profile Bed
- Pressure Relieving mattress
- Syringe Drivers
Our list of needs changes year to year so this is not a comprehensive list. If you are interested in supporting the hospice to help fund equipment or wish to make a large gift towards an aspect of our daily running costs, please call 0151 343 0778 or email firstname.lastname@example.org thank you.
We would like to thank Persimmon Homes for kindly supporting Wirral Hospice St John’s through their Persimmon Homes Community Champions scheme.
