Counselling Support
Wirral Hospice St John’s offers free and confidential counselling support services to hospice patients, and their relatives or carers, who are over the age of 18.
What is Counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy in which you can speak in confidence with a professionally qualified counsellor.
Counselling can provide emotional and psychological support to those experiencing the difficulties that can be associated with having a life-limiting illness, and to their relatives/carers.
You may wish to talk through and explore a range of difficult experiences and concerns.
This may support you in finding better ways of coping or help you to discover how to make things less difficult to deal with.
Counselling Appointments
Counselling can take place face-to-face, over the telephone or via video call.
How do I get in touch with the Counselling Support Service?
