Midnight Walk Success
Published on: 08/10/2013300 pairs of pink bunny ears ensured the success of the Wirral Hospice St John’s 30th Anniversary Midnight Walk on 21st September. Each walker collected goody bags of water, chocolate and fruit and joined in with an energetic warm up before setting off for the 5.5 mile walk up Hoylake Road and along the promenade finishing at Morrisons in West Kirby.
Hayley Gough, Events Manager said “We were honoured to have had our Hospice supporter Sarah Parr bravely speaking about her own experience of Wirral Hospice following the care that her dad received here. We would like to thank everyone involved in making the event another great success, including all of our fantastic walkers and volunteers”.
