Video of Wirral Hospice's Christmas tree collection

We will be collecting trees from Friday 10 January 2020, until they are all collected in!

If you would like to have your real tree collected in return for a donation to Wirral Hospice St John's, please book your Wirral Hospice St John's Christmas Tree Collection here. Donations for this useful community service scheme help our charity provide specialist end of life care and support for our patients and their loved ones at their time of most need.

Suggested donations:
£6 for a tree under 5ft
£8 for a tree under 6ft
£10 for a tree under 7ft
£15 for a large tree over 7ft

Please give as generously as you are able to. Please help us to help others.

The last date for booking is TUESDAY 7 JANUARY 2020, we need to close the sytem off so that all the routes can be plotted so please book before this date to avoid disappointment. BOOK HERE.

The booking system is run by a company called JustHelping who organise payments for Christmas tree collection shemes for many hospices across the country.

If you are Wirral-based: when you put your postcode in and add your details and payment information, you will be added to Wirral Hospice's collection rounds. If you are not Wirral-based then there may be another hospice who is operating a collection service in your area. We are not able to collect trees from outside the postcodes in our catchment area unfortunately.

It's better for us if Christmas tree collection bookings are made online so that all details about the size of your Christmas tree and where you will leave your tree for us to find can be entered. However, if you do have any queries when booking, please call 0151 343 0778 (Mon to Fri 9am-5pm, except Bank Holidays), or email, thank you.

~ If you would like to volunteer your time to help us collect trees on Saturday 11 and / or Sunday 12 January 2020, we'd love to hear from you! It's great fun, honestly! You will use muscles you never knew existed and make some great friends with your van buddies!
~ Although we are hoping to collect the majority of trees on the Saturday and Sunday, we may also need to carry out collections on Monday 13, Tuesday 14 & Wednesday 15 January 2020, if you could help on any of those dates? Or be on stand-by if needed?
~ If you have the use of a van, and don't mind a few tree needles, even better!
~ If you have a chipper and are able to help, we might squeal with delight!
~ If you have land that we could temporarily drop trees off at until they can get chipped, we'd also love to speak with you!

Please call our fundraising office on 0151 343 0778 and ask for Elaine.
