Mucky Mudder is a brand new and exciting event full of muddy good fun to help raise vital funds for our valuable hospice care. You will make your way around the 5k course by running through muddy ponds, climbing under and over beams and crawling through tunnels and nets! You can run, jog, walk or skip as this event is for all abilities.


On the day:

If you select the ‘sponsored’ registration fee we kindly require a minimum sponsorship of £50 per adult and £20 per youth on or before the event date to ensure participation in Mucky Mudder. We will provide sponsor forms and support you in reaching your sponsorship target. You can also set up an online giving page via Just Giving using the following link Every pound you raise will make a huge difference to the care of our patients and their families.

If you choose to pay the ‘no minimum sponsorship’ registration fee you are exempt from raising a minimum amount of funds but anything you do raise would be greatly appreciated!

Standard rates Sat 30 Aug until Tue 24 Sep:
£20 adult (comitment to raise £50 sponsorship)
£10 youth (comitment to raise £20 sponsorship)
£35 flat fee (no minimum sponsorship required)

By proceeding with registering for the event you acknowledge and agree that you have carefully read the below agreement and agree to the terms and conditions. You are agreeing to not sue any companies and all other personals associated with the event, for any liabilities, claims, actions or damages that you may occur during this event.

Photography: I understand that photographs, motion pictures and recordings captured during the event may be used by the hospice and in local media.

It must be acknowledged by each runner that participation in this event may be physically challenging and each participant must be aware of the nature of the event and associated medical and physical risks involved.

• I confirm that I am in good health and in a good physical condition to safely participate in the Muddy Fun Run or that would result in my participation creating a risk of danger to myself or to others. I acknowledge that Wirral Hospice St John’s recommends and encourages each client to get medical clearance from your local GP if in any doubt. I confirm that I have not been advised or cautioned against participating by a medical practitioner.

• Wirral Hospice St John’s and 3rd party companies (Zorbing Hire UK Ltd & Church Farm Events) accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to any participants or other members of your group, or to the personal property of any member of your group who enter the venue.

• By participating in a Wirral Hospice St John’s event you are agreeing to abide the rules of those management from the venue and the organisers from 3rd parties.

For any participants under the age of 18,

If you are registering a child under the age of 18 you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that party and have the legal authority and capacity to enter into the agreement. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the event. The minimum age limit for this event is 14 therefore you agreeing your minor is aged 14 or over on 29.09.2019.

• I confirm that the persons under the age of 18 can participate in this event. I can confirm that in the place of accident/illness, any necessary treatment can be administrated by the first aid response on the day.

• There will be ID checks at registration on the day, any participants found to be under the age 14 will not be allowed to participate
