Please can you bring your donations to the rear of our Donation Centre in Hoylake.
The car park is the road parallel behind The Ship Inn (close-by postcode CH47 3BB).
You'll need to turn into Alderley Road off Market Street to access the car park behind:
- If you are driving along Market Street from West Kirby: turn right into Alderley Road, then left into Charles Road
- If you are driving along Market Street from Moreton direction: turn left into Alderley Road, then left into Charles Road
PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE RESIDENTS CAR PARK TO GET TO THE REAR OF OUR DONATION CENTRE, AND PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY WHEN EXITING THE AREA.
We expect about five cars per drop-off slot so kindly ask you to wait in a single file, as far to the left of the car park as possible please. We will be dealing with one car at a time as we need to complete paperwork and stickers for each person's stuff. This only takes a few minutes per car, your patience will be appreciated.
Vehicles from local businesses and residents will be driving in the opposite direction through the car park at times so please keep as far to the left when waiting in single file as possible please. And please do not block the two-way access if there is a vehicle previously parked on the left. Please wait patiently until you can drive around it to move forward.

We are not limiting number of bags and boxes people can donate but please can you be mindful that our hospice team will have to carry your donations so please can bags not be overfilled. We are sorry but we will not be able to give bags or boxes back when you bring things to us so please only donate items to us in bags and boxes that you do not mind handing in.
This is for people to kindly donate items for our charity shops:
Things we cannot accept:
All items need to be clean and saleable please as it costs our charity money to dispose of items that we are not able to sell.
If you have items that would be considered more suitable for textile recycling, please clearly mark any bags as 'rag' so that we can keep those bags separately from stock we need to sort after a quarantine period.
If you have larger items of furniture that you wish to donate, please can you email email@example.com with a daytime contact number, your address, details of the furniture, and photos of the items. We will then get back to you in due course to discuss a realistic timeline for when we might eb able to come out to collect items.
